Actually its replacing soldiers with machines so they don’t have to pay them, but nice try. And a machine doesn’t question authority either.

This also may come as a shock, but a lot of poor people in rural areas have always had a “fall back” to join the military. Even if it put them in harms way, it was a last resort (esp in a time when good jobs are scarce). It was a sorta unspoken thing. Keep people poor enough & you’ve got all the army you’d ever need (no need for a draft anymore).

Now that machines are becoming cheaper than people, the gov, corporations, etc will throw us all under the bus since we’re no longer needed.
